Spring Ephemerals

As part of a collaborative community art project with llook, I created watercolor illustrations of spring ephemerals that can be found in Western Massachusetts. Spring ephemerals are the perennial woodland wildflowers that bloom in early spring, after the snow melts and before trees cast their shade over the forest floor. The illustrations appeared on a website where visitors can learn about ephemerals and find local hiking trails to see them in person.
