Tara & Sam

Tara and Sam had a strong vision for their wedding save-the-dates. Since they planned to have two wedding celebrations, they wanted the designs to reference each location. For the look and feel, they were inspired by Pennsylvania Dutch hex signs that adorn barns, which are said to provide protection and good fortune. These signs often use stylized motifs arranged in a circular pattern.

Using this framework, we came up with symbols for both their Sargentville, Maine, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania wedding celebrations. These were made into magnets to create an aesthetically pleasing reminder of the upcoming events.
