Bats Love Bugs

Bats love bugs, and bugs love native plants! This project was a collaboration between Bat Conservation International and BCycle, San Antonio’s bike share company. The goal was to create fun, colorful designs that raise awareness about BCI’s work and how planting native plants in your garden supports food for bats. My goal was to show a variety of native plants (mostly white and red to match BCI’s colors) and to customize the design/illustrations to the physical shape of the bikes.

After the launch of the bikes, BCI wanted to adapt the illustrations to some other formats, so we created stickers, T-shirts, and a coloring page. You can purchase the T-shirts here.
