The goal of the new Bat Week logo was to bring consistency and legitimacy to the event, creating a mark that is clean, professional, modern, and adaptable. With a target audience of adults and educators seeking to celebrate and bring awareness to bats, it was important that any bats depicted should look approachable rather than scary or cartoonish. The final design depicts a symbolic but easily recognizable bat with secondary versions to enhance ease of use in a variety of shapes and applications.
